Live: The Volunteers play Public Assembly tonight + mp3

The Volunteers, a boozy-blues/psychedelia rock group from our fair NYC (Brooklyn, word) play tonight at midnight at Public Assembly, the former Galapagos space, in Williamsburg. Sharing the bill for the night will be Octagon
and Black Diamond Ba. Show starts at 10pm and it's five bucks. Five bucks well worth it. One listen to the band's latest, second album, Spectrophilia, and you'll be convinced there's no better place to look for gritty, beer-soaked woozy waltzes. If you're not easily convinced by our words, take a listen to the album's opener, "Rock n Roll (Will Kill You)".
