Photos: No Big Deal on January 23
Moulinex and Xinobi, two rad-as-fuck DJs, just launched their own label called Disco Texas. And what better way to celebrate than to pop by Europa in Brooklyn and throw down a nasty set of 80s synths and breaks? This month’s No Big Deal party, thrown by the dudes from Finger On The Pulse and Palms Out Sounds also featured the basslines of Udachi and the pop leanings of Hoop Dreams as well as a set by the twins from FOTP themselves. Lots and lots of underage kids came and raged for a few hours and we had a good time watching it all go down. A bit too much smoke machine maybe, but that’s just the curmudgeon in us talking.
