Here's the situation on The Blue Van.  They're a band (obvs.).  They're from Denmark and they play throwback rock music a la America's yesteryear.  The Blue Van were also just up for "Breakthrough Artist Of The Year" in Denmark's version of the Grammys a few weeks ago, where they performed a song on the show.  You may have also heard their tracks in ads for T-Mobile and in-program cues in "Scrubs" and the new "90210".  We say all of this because, well, there's way more to this band than just a remix.  Even if the remix is way swell and features some of our favorite talent from New York, Streetlab and Sean MF'n Roberts.  Pay attention to this band you guys.  We totally think they're going to be something to enjoy in '09 and, who knows, maybe longer.
