Download: Flore feat. Rodney P – “We Rewind (am I angry? remix)”

The new single from French producer/DJ Flore features the vocal help on two tracks from Shunda K (Yo Majesty!) and Rodney P, respectively, for "The Test" and "We Rewind", each a thrillingly interesting take on the Lyon-born Flore's bigger-than-breakbeat pedigree. "The Test" rides high on jump-up beats and vocal calls, where Shunda K's bars are intense and aggressive. The rhythm definitely matches that. "We Rewind" (along with its sister take, the "am I angry? mix") is less raw and wobbles out and in, obviously owing debts to Rodney P's mates, Dub Pistols, as well as P's UK hip hop/warehouse royalty streak. Flore is hard at work on her new record, Raw, which we have no idea as to when it's expected.
