Kid Cudi's third single from Man On The Moon: The End Of Day, a record that dropped in September and we're still not 100% feeling, "Pursuit Of Happiness" is a pretty posi-style track about the mellowness and pleasure of, er, spliffing your troubles away. It's an "I'm going to be fine" kind of vibe that meanders–through the help of production work by Ratatat and vocals from MGMT–its way in and out of your consciousness like thoughts about the interstellar workings of the universe and the metaphysics of the world (both topics one finds him/herself contemplating when stoned). This remix, from Thrills & Tony Rocky Horror, really works that angle, with sugar sap hits and blowy, smoke-like effects and drowsy vibes all over the arrangement, but it picks up pace-wise with more bounce and flavor, but it's still not anything more than a great dubby song.
