Download: Performance – “Reptile”

New Romantic futurists from Manchester, this three-piece called Performance do their best posturing and pumping with tunes that instantly rave up the likes of forebearers like Visage, Tears For Fears or the entire audience from The Blitz in the very early 80s synthpop birthing. The band are set to release their second album around April 2010 and they've led that march with this teaser track, "Reptile", which is just a few bars and Logic Pro re-tracks away from "Fade To Grey". It's quite enjoyable and we're looking forward to more swoon-worthy, hairs-on-the-back-of-the-neck-standing-on-edge tracks from these lads and lady in the coming months leading up to the release of their sophomore disc.
