Photos: WIRED Store 2009 Launch Party on November 20

For its fifth year, the magazine WIRED has opened up a pop-up store here in New York City for the next six weeks (closing up just after the holidays), offering up a look at over 150 gadgets, gizmos and doodads to purchase/pine over. The store had a launch party on Friday evening which featured DJ sets from Justine D and Moby alongside an open bar, loads of hors d’oeuvres and a first-look at some of the rad stuff you can purchase from the storefront now for your loved ones–or just for yourself if you’d like. We headed over there and left with a great impression, a long wish list and a full stomach, not to mention a pretty cool gift bag under our arms. Sadly, we left before Moby went on. We had other points of interest on the old calendar awaiting. The WIRED Store is open daily through December 27 and it’s located at 415 West 13th St., right around the way from the Standard Hotel.
