Video: Ian McCulloch – “The Killing Moon (acoustic)”
This past Friday night at Webster Hall's downstairs performance space, The Studio, East Village Radio, ourselves and Sheena Beaston hosted a very intimate and spectacularly frank performance from Echo and the Bunnymen front man and wild haired gent, Ian McCulloch. It was an acoustic affair, with McCulloch joined onstage only by a glass with ice and a bottle of brandy. For six songs, McCulloch was raspy (he'd been fighting voice problems all week) but appreciative of the opportunity and even a little bit affable the whole time. This song, the 1984 classic Bunnymen track "The Killing Moon", finished off his set. Very special thanks for the team from LA-based bigMethod for hooking us up with Ian.
