Helsinki-based four-piece electro club deviants Emperatron got in touch with us about a remix they've just done of the classic 1996 one-hit wonder act Babylon Zoo, and "Spaceman", which climbed to the top of the UK pop charts shortly after its release and then it (and the band) faded shortly thereafter. But drumming up old favorites is something that we should all get used to, as original content is now giving way to original points-of-view of rather known subject matter. The guys cut in all of the robotic voiced vocals that made mark one of the song so catchy and memorable, and have done completely away with any of the human element once there, adding in a ton of drum lines and soaring builds. It's no longer an indie rock-leaning Brit pop track, but rather a dance floor igniter that makes you sweat, even if you're listening comfortably in your headphones or seated in your chair. Don't fight it, just let it happen.
