Emerging: Big Ears

Between the time that they're doing their thing in All Leather, their side project/remix moniker Leg Lifters and their seemingly endless array of solo experimentation, Nathan Joyner and Justin Pearson could all but take over these pages in the near future. Adding to our thesis is Nathan's new solo project, Big Ears, an ADD-addled production point-of-view that strikes you with experimental ticks and bare-bones electronic swivels and sweeps. It's far less vicious than anything he's been a part of beforehand, but maybe that's the point of the approach. It's not just noise with a directive to destroy but rather its aim just might be distract, titillate and conquer.
