Haitian musician Rosemond Jolissaint played a short, acoustic set in the the downstairs of New York’s Santos Party House venue this past Friday night to help raise funds with the non-profit organization SOIL for his fellow countrymen and women of Haiti, who remain suffering great losses and tribulations after last month’s earthquake and aftershocks. Jolissaint headed up a line-up of other acts (like 77klash) and various DJs as well. He played a few creole language songs and covered a few Bob Marley tracks (“One Love”, “Redemption Song”) as well.
