Video: Drake feat. Lil Wayne & Eminem – “Drop The World/Forever (live at The Grammys) (uncensored)”
For anyone who caught the entire three-and-a-half hour escapade that was the 52nd annual Grammy Awards last night, it was filled with upsets, upstarts, shocks, awes and a lot of pretty noteworthy things. For those of you who caught the live performance of Drake joined by Lil Wayne and Eminem for their "Drop The World" and "Forever" blend (introduced by a not-so-ashamed-to-be-a-white-guy-talking-jive Quentin Tarantino), you may have–like us–missed about half of it due to the white-haired guys at CBS cutting audio for what they must have thought was too much vulgarity, though we all know they were censoring words that may not have even been what anyone would consider "bad" or "immoral". Maybe they were just too "black" for the squares at CBS. Anyways, this morning the guys from Complex unearthed an uncensored broadcast version of the performance and just like we had said/thought/tweeted, it was amazing. Shaking fingers at the squares for this as it seems like the guys really did a pretty OK job of censoring themselves throughout the songs, knowing full well the repercussions of not doing so.
