Last summer, the Norwegians in lo-fi indie electronic pop outfit Casiokids stunned us with this simple yet terribly infectious single called “Finn Bikkjen!”, even going so far as to shoot a DIY video for the song in a hot air balloon above the Hove Festival. It must’ve caught the attention of the guys in LightsoverLA as it did us here, as they’ve just sent us over this amazing bubblegum gem remix of the song, which pounds in the dance elements and keeps the sincerity of the original involved fully, but of course, it’s definitely a LightsoverLA track now. For them, it’s another great rendition that follows suit from their wild arrangements for the likes of Crystal Castles, Miike Snow, Delphic and more.
