We’re turning 5 with Michael Serafini and Jason Kendig.
Tickets / FB
This is a dream lineup of ours (which we may have stolen from a night at Panorama Bar). After seeing these two on a running order together, we decided to invite them both to join us for our birthday. Your residents, Free Magic & Faso will warm up the room, so don’t miss the liftoff.
After five long years, this will be our last monthly party – We’ll still do one off discos here and there and in the meantime stay tuned for the label’s seventh release by Free Magic and Catamaran. Many thanks to all those who have graced these decks with their inspiration and wisdom thus far:
12x12, Alex Burkat, Amir Abdullah, Andrés, Archie Pelago, Aurora Halal, Autobot, Auntie Flo, Beautiful Swimmers, Bell Boys, Benguin, Bookworms, Break 3000, Catamaran, Chez Damier, Chris Costello, Cole Medina, Derek Plaslaiko, Detroit Swindle, whoever was considered DFA DJs at the time, Dirt Crew, DJ Harvey, DJ Nature, DJ Qu, DJ Spun, DJ Technics, Eddie C, Erin Automatic, Aaron FIT, Futureboogie, Ge-Ology, GERD, Ghosts of Venice, Holy Ghost!, Hot Toddy, Jacques Renault, Jay Simon, JDH, Joey Anderson, Jus-Ed, Justin Martin, Kai Alce, Kon, Kyle Hall, Lee Douglas, L’estasi Dell’oro, Lloydski, Lovefingers, Marcellus Pittman, Marcos Cabral, Mark E, Metro Area(s), Mike Huckaby, Mike Servito (beep!), Mister Saturday Night, MK, Move D, Move D’s hair, N’Conduit, Norm Talley, Octo Octa, October, Olin, OOFT!, OP!, Pittsburgh Track Authority, Policy, Rahaan, Recloose, Roy Dank, Rude Crew (and bear), San Soda, Scott Grooves, Scribe, SECRETS, Sleazy Beats, Slow Hands, Soul 2 Seoul, Steve Summers, Terrence Parker, The Achievers, The Black Madonna, Tim Sweeney, Todd Sines, Treasure Fingers, Trus’me, Twilite Tone, Tyree (The Supa Dupa Produca) Cooper, Tyson Ballard, U-Tern, VDRK ♥, Voices of Black, and Will Eastman.
xo DISCOVERY

I’m really sad that Discovery is ending ;( Maybe my favorite party in New York ever.
So many memories, from being one of the 2 photographers who were with the team from the jump (shout out to itswetpaint), seeing the DJs, party, and love grow—and grow up—since 2009, all of the groundwork laid beforehand by Joel, Ruth, Aaron, Jason, Damon, etc.
Even when the party left one of my favorite venues ever, Santos Party House, for a new home at Loreley and then Glasslands Gallery (also shout out to weird nights that weren’t really Discovery at the Bakery).
Even when I asked Joel and Aaron to DJ my wedding which basically turned into the best-dressed Discovery party ever.
If you’re in New York City on October 3, 2014, do me and yourself a favor. Dress up. Grab your friends. Grab a camera. Make sure you smile. Dance for hours. Help us say goodbye to Discovery.
<3 Jeff.
