Getting Sassy with…Felguk

We here around THE CULTURE OF ME were once obsessed with all things relating to Sassy and Dirt magazines. And while those titles are long gone, the sentiment of how they covered the culture industries has indeed left its mark on writers and culture vultures everywhere. It is because of that influence that we are proud to present our features post, “Getting Sassy with…”, wherein we bring you that much closer to your favorite bands by way of a simple Q&A session that’s both painless and informative. Ha! Beat that, FOX News!

This time: Felguk.

Leading up to another year of the Electric Zoo Festival happening across Labor Day weekend here in New York City, we’ve once again teamed with the people at Made Event and festival organizers to bring you closer to and give the spotlight over to the dozens of acts who’ll be gracing the stages.

Felguk are Brazilian D.J.s and music producers Felipe Lozinsky and Gustavo Rozenthal, and since 2009 they’ve risen up and up, peaking at #2 in Beatport with their remix of “Exceeder”, getting production work taken on for the likes of Madonna’s “Celebration”, Flo Rida & David Guetta’s “Club Can’t Handle Me”, and the God-awful song from Black Eyed Peas, “The Time (Dirty Bit)”. The kids are super-young, super-hungry and—just like their tastes in electronic music—their answers to our questionnaire were spotty, haphazard and hilarious.
