To begin the reverie, here’s a super light and airy extended mix of their gripping collaboration with Julianna Barwick, “Sa Sa Samoa”.

Contests: Win tickets to Sunday’s Identity Festival date in New Jersey

Coming this Sunday from 1pm until 11pm is the Holmdel, New Jersey stop for the Identity Festival tour at the PNC Bank Arts Center, featuring headlining sets from the likes of Steve Aoki, Kaskade, DJ Shadow, Chuckie, FIGO, Modeselektor (live) and many, many more. Tickets have been on sale for a while and the weather is looking like it’s going to be a super great day, so we’ve teamed up with the FIGO gang (who are dropping their new EP Put It All On Black on August 30 through iTunes) to give away a pair of tickets to a lucky winner.

Here’s how to win:

Using Twitter, re-tweet the message below. Just copy and paste it and you’ll be good to go:
Hey @thecultureofme I want to see @FIGONYC at @IDFest w/ @Kaskade and more!! Click here for more info: http://t.co/RFAi91K #tcomidfest

Then, just make sure you’re following us on Twitter. You should be already, but if you’re not (weird), you can follow us by clicking here. Then you’re all set. We’ll run the contest UNTIL TOMORROW and the winner (selected at random, obviously) will get a notification from us.

Photos: Ellie Goulding and Bag Raiders played Terminal 5 last week

Sorry for inundating you guys with all of these Mad Decent Block Party photos, because, honestly, other stuff happened last weekend. Like this show we went to on Friday evening at Terminal 5 that featured songstress and sprite-sized Ellie Goulding and the Aussie power-pop/disco pop duo Bag Raiders. The NYLON magazine-sponsored tour the set of acts were on together finally hit New York City—in a big, big way. The show was sold out, the energy was huge (young kids are just filled with it) and we couldn’t have had a better time shooting and hanging out during both sets.
