Karin Park - “Fryngies”
Hey, dubstep producers, make more vocal cuts like this one and get rid of all the sidechains and grind effects you’re usually using because this is the way to go. Keep tabs on Karin Park, too.
Godspeed!
Pretty sure every one of the comments on this new cut from Burial and Four Tet, “Nova”, is some variant of “Holy shit!” (And it’s not at all an incorrect sentiment.)
Godspeed!

We’re really really loving this chopped and screwed up remix from young Ryan Hemsworth of Claire Boucher a/k/a Grimes’ “Genesis”. It’s perfect for a quiet Friday morning before a busy, busy, busy weekend.
Godspeed!

Jess Mills in 2012 continues to work out where she left off in 2011: having a few intensely great singles that get an innumerable amount of remixes for each. Here, MIlls’s latest single “Pixelated People” gets a glittering dub remix from Maya Jane Coles a/k/a Nocturnal Sunshine, with the usual wub wub wub mixed in with glitchy downtempo standard arrangement elements.
Godspeed!

If you’re not seriously stoked and consistently excited for Claire Boucher a/k/a Grimes’ upcoming 4AD debut “Visions”, consider this yet another reason to jump on that wagon and follow it wherever it goes. “Skin” is amazing, subtle, sultry and panic-inducingly great. All downtempo everything.
Godspeed!
CREEP feat. Holly Miranda - “Animals”
Time to get sketchy guys. Time for another amazing video from the girls of CREEP (Lauren Flax and Lauren Dillard) and “Animals”. Featuring two stark females and stark locations, light shifts and haunting imagery, Holly Miranda features in a most interesting fashion and we can’t get enough of how spooky one duo can be.
Godspeed!
