Major Lazer feat. Amber Coffman + YOUDONTSAY // download
We named the Van She debut, eponymous disc as our favorite album of the year when it had come out, and now, teasing the sophomore disc coming up later this year with the title track and lead single “Idea Of Happiness”, something tells us that we’re all in for a repeat ruling.

DESIRE - DON’T CALL
Yes to this.

Leeds-based indie rockers Club Smith have already been featured and gotten support from the likes o Lamacq and the BBC Radio 1, 6 Music and the Reading & Leeds Festival, so we figured after listening to many of their songs that we’d give them a second or two to wow us. And, well, yup. Here we are then. The four-piece have the sort of propulsive guitars and drums that echo through the night skies and send shivers toward listeners, and a song like “Causing Doubt”—not really a single and not quite a rarity or B-side—is evidence of their promise, with witty lyrics and vocals pitched just right. You can hear a bunch of their other songs, including single “Call To Harm”, on SoundCloud, but jump-start all of that with this download of “Causing Doubt”, a near-impeccable few minutes out of your day.

The kids in Friends Electric (Welsh awesome dance pop foursome) are back with another soaring and near-perfect cut called “Puzzle Pieces”, out October 24, and we just can’t seem to find ourselves listening to anything else. You’ll probably feel the same way after a half-dozen spins, seeing as how that’s going to happen once you stop reading our words and eating theirs.

Before you buy the record (and you will buy the record, no?), you can stream the whole thing using the widget above, courtesy of your dear friends at the Hype Machine. Thanks guys. It’s a beautiful gift you’ve given.
