Cubic Zirconia - “Take Me High (Bart B More remix)”
The gods Cubic Zirconia loved the Bart B More remix of their anthem “Take Me High” so much, they decided to go ahead and make a video for it, with bells, whistles, lasers, strobes, emotion, sweat, and prayer. Directed, edited and produced by lead vocalist Tiombe Lockhart, the trio blaze it out and blast the doors off their hinges. We love this—and them—so much.

Telephoned are back with a new self-produced cover song. This time around it’s a cover of the Red Cafe song “Fly Together”, but Sammy and Maggie take the Ryan Leslie hook alone and transform the animal into something so different, so fresh, and so, so good. Telephoned headline Glasslands in Brooklyn later this week (on January 29) and also are finally prepping to release their long-awaited “Ring Ring” EP on Fool’s Gold this Valentine’s Day.

Thank god for Fool’s Gold Records, right? A-Trak, Treasure Fingers, Telephoned, Cubic Zirconia, Jokers of the Scene, et al. It’s crazy that they just don’t know how not to succeed, so it made absolute sense that A-Trak and friends came by Webster Hall for a Friday the 13th show for Girls & Boys, with sets from Soundwavve, Treasure Fingers, Codes, and A himself. Swarming with people, partiers, party photographers, other DJs, friends of the Fool’s Gold program, and more, it was a super fun time the whole night through, and everyone was on another level.
