In celebration of the 12-year anniversary of Making Time, I’ve compiled a 24-hour playlist of some of my favorite futuristic sounds, most of which I’ve played on WXPN’s Making Time RADio show.

See you on the other side.

All your everything are belong to ‘Making Time’.

Let’s go. It’s Friday, it’s big room time, it’s seven minutes long and it’s pulsing enough to jolt you out of your “ugh-9-to-5-but-it’s-only-9:44am” mood. At least, we think so.

Discovery talks 5 things they love about the party’s new venue, Loreley

For the second edition of the best disco and house party in New York City, Discovery, at the party’s new venue in Brooklyn, the biergarten Loreley on Frost Street, we asked funky tunes-loving Free Magic (above) and Faso to tell us five things the team loves about the new place, and what makes the party what it is: a true love affair with dance music, good times, all positivity, and nothing but smiles from start to sunrise.

Here’s what Free Magic (born Joel Fowler) and Faso (born Jason Fellows) came up with:

01 Playing where we live.

02 Being closer to the dance floor in the DJ booth.

03 Having a sweet outdoor area for the summer months.

04 Friendly security (who ask what song you’re playing as they dance).

05 $5 drafts of Scheider-Weisse Original, from a brewery that saved wheat beers from extinction in 1607. Best beer ever.

Discovery returns this Saturday night to Loreley with Voices Of Black and Beg To Differ.
