It was moombahton and synth pop massive last night at Webster Hall for Girls & Boys, with D.J. sets from the Sazon Booya boys, Nadastrom, residents Alex English and RekLES, and live performances from both Data Romance and Digitalism.
The place was packed for most of the night, given the “concert” vibe of the night, but we wished that the full-tilt crowd had stayed through the entirety of the Dave Nada and Matt Nordstrom a/k/a Nadastrom set that closed the night. Super fun either way.

You guys, go to Ecuador, because honestly if as much fun and good times as Matt and Dave of Nadastrom make it look like (Dogs! Kids! Masks! No poverty really in sight!) it must be pretty great. Plus, moombahton just goes really over well with the dancers there, and “i!!” is the anthem to speak about all of this, taken from the duo’s Baile Diablume EP is out for free download from Scion A/V tomorrow, October 18.
