Something Sweden can’t stop doing is churning out over and over again the kind of electronic-tinged dance music that fits alongside pop as much as dance, and the boys in Simian Ghost are a true example of that, with their latest single “Wolf Girl” easily acceptable for both pantheons.

Their next record, “Youth”, is out on Heist or Hit on March 5.

Talented young blood Charli XCX hit the Red Bull Studios London to record a catwalk soundtrack for accessories designer Fred Butler as part of the Red Bull Catwalk Studio project. “I’ll Never Know”, the song that came of the project, is available for free download for the next five days.

We talked about how excited we were initially about this international duo of female indie-pop stars-to-be, BOY, a little while ago, and today, you can get your hands and ears on a new song called “This Is The Beginning” from them. So, yeah, good day already. The girls’ debut album is still TK, but keep watch for sure on them for at least the rest of 2012 to see where they’re going to go. Probably upward and onward.
